The Dharma

Vast Emptiness

The noble Avaloketishvara Boddhisatva said "All dharmas are defined by emptiness, not birth or destruction, purity or defilement, completeness or deficienty."

The Heart Sutra

Dharma Talks

Great wisdom is available to boddhisatvas, followers of the Buddha's path. In The Heart Sutra, the Boddhisatva Avaloketishvara, "he who looks down upon the cries of the world," gives the core teachings of Buddhism to the exemplary disciple, Shariputra. These teachings are part of the dharma.

Dharma means the law, the teachings of the Buddha, and in general the way things work.

The first and third Mondays of each month our meditation service is followed by a dharma talk.
